WIWW - Summer White and Floral Prints

I haven't blogged properly in nearly a month and managed to only take photos of 2 outfits. I think this proves that I have been super busy! I have also fallen off the gym wagon and I need to get serious.

Tank: Banana Republic Factory Store
Cardigan: J Crew Jackie
Skirt: Banana Republic Factory Store
Shoes: BCBG via TJ Maxx
Necklace: J Crew Factory Store
Watch: Michael Kors
Rings: Forever 21
Nail Polish: Essie Cute As A Button and OPI DS Radiance

I bought this dress at TJ Maxx when I was looking for a few new things to take to my conference. I fell in love. It's Jessica Simpson and I feel like I stole it by only paying $25 for it. The BCBG shoes were another TJ Maxx find and steal for only $35. My love for TJ Maxx has been renewed. I also picked up a super cute Tommy Hilfiger tote for traveling. I had to resist the Michael Kors tote that I found. It was hard. I walked around with it for a bit until my mom said I needed to put it back if I wasn't going to buy it. Ugh!

Alright Ladies, I made it through my work week. I'm Tennessee bound Friday morning to visit my sister and her husband. I'm excited to go back to Nashville! Also, they plan to take us to "Pickin on the Porch". Which is basically a bunch of people in lawn chairs enjoying moonshine sno-cones. God I love Tennessee!!

New eyeshadow obsessions

A few weeks ago, I was in Sephora looking for a few things and they had eyeshadow on sale for $4. SCORE. So, I kind of went nuts and then had to pull myself back in. I'm completely obsessed with three of the colors I purchased. One of them isn't really a day to day shadow for me but I couldn't pass it up.

The first three are my favorites. I find that they go great with my Naked 2 Palette as well as the new Urban Decay shadows I purchased. They're shimmery but not too glittery. Which is important to me.

I have been wearing the Sun-Kissed nearly everyday in combination with my Urban Decay Naked, as well as several colors in my palette and the Dying For Fudge that you will see later. It's an orange/gold color but not too much. It's actually kind of subtle. I tried to find these online but because they were sale products, I couldn't find them.

Retro-Powderpuff reminds me of Sun-Kissed but a little more pink.

Sun-Kissed on top, Retro-Powderpuff on the bottom. Please excuse my veiny hands. Thanks!

Dying For Fudge is my other favorite! It reminds me a lot of the other two but in the tan/light brown family. I use it for blending and it works great! I'm not sure what I'll do if I can't find something similar to these when they run out. The downfall of buying sale merchandise!

I haven't used the Meet Me At Midnight. The girl that checked me out told me this is one of her favorite colors ever. I might bust this out for my birthday next Friday. I'm not ready to discuss the fact that my 30th birthday is less than 2 weeks away.

As you can see the Dying For Fudge is nice neutral color but the Meet Me At Midnight is definitely a little more shimmery/glittery than the others. It might be ok for the outer corners, if it's blended well.

I have so many new products I want to review for you but I don't want to overwhelm everyone, so I'll break them up over the next week or so!

Have any of you purchased any new products lately that I need to know about? The product junkie in me, needs to know!

Have a great Tuesday ladies! Only one more work day for me this week. I need a 4 day weekend in the worst way!

Lots to catch up on...

My blogging has fallen to the wayside lately. Crazy hectic work life means I'm super stressed and don't have a free minute. When I do have a free minute...I sleep. Yep, I'm super lame.

My busy season is upon me and I'm basically going to go non-stop until November. Don't be too jealous. :) Because of the chaos, I spent yesterday editing photos and writing posts for the week.

If you follow me on IG and Twitter, you have been keeping up with my life. If you really care and want to know what I'm doing, I recommend stalking me on social media...I keep that updated! I have done some shopping, traveled to Colonial Williamsburg for a work conference, baked 60+ cookies for a family gathering, mastered the sock bun and got super dressed up for our resident's graduation during my absence.

The posts this week will be random and out of order but let's start with some new nail polish I bought!

My aunt used to do hair for a living. She no longer does it but keeps her license so she can shop at the beauty supply store. The discounts are awesome! She buys us things on the regular and I got this awesome three pack of China Glaze polishes. Perfect for Summer! I have the pink on my toes and I plan to do the mint on my nails this week. Stay tuned! I got the entire set for $7.50. So cheap... I know! If you see any of these colors, you should definitely pick them up!

I'm happy to be back ladies. I hope to get caught up on all of your blogs too. I have been trying to read occasionally but it's not easy. I have a lot of proctoring this week so hopefully I can catch up. I'll probably be spamming your inboxes commenting on EVERYTHING!! :)

WIWW - Stripes and Leopard Print

Two of these outfits contain leopard print because you can never go wrong with an animal print. The other is a striped maxi that got lots of feedback on IG.

I'm not pregnant, however this F21 top could easily disguise a bump. The head on shot was worse. Oh and I looked about 3 feet tall. Not my best!

Top: Forever 21
Cardigan: J Crew Jackie
Jeans: American Eagle
Shoes: Aldo
Necklace: J Crew Factory
Watch: Michael Kors
Bag: Michael Kors
Rings: Forever 21

This dress came from the girls department at Target. It's a size large (which is a 10-12). It has a nice weight to it and I like that the straps are little wider. Probably because it's made for a little girl, not a 29 year old. But, I have short girl problems and it fits great! I will now be hitting up the girls department more often!

Dress: Target
 Cardigan: J Crew Jackie
Shoes: Target (last season)
Earrings: Target (similar)
Necklaces: J Crew Factory (chain here)
Watch: Michael Kors

My sister gave me this skirt. I love when things no longer fit her and she gives them to me like. Like my favorite lime green running shorts.

Tank: Target (old)
Cardigan: New York and Co. (old)
Skirt: Target
Shoes: Shoe Carnival (old)
Watch: Michael Kors
Rings: Forever 21, Lia Sophia
Necklace: Forever 21

I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy again today. I hope you are all having a great Wednesday!

I'm hooked

I follow the Tone It Up girls Katrina and Karena on Twitter and IG. I have not signed up for their nutrition plan but I do like to do their workouts occasionally. It's nice to change it up every now and then. I was watching a few of their YouTube videos over the weekend and they mentioned La Croix sparkling water as a beverage they like. I have looked at it before but never tried it. Taking their recommendation, I decided to buy a few flavors.

I purchased the grapefruit flavor (based on Tone It Up recommendation), lime flavor and cran-raspberry flavor. I'm kicking myself for never trying this before. I haven't tried the cran-raspberry yet but so far grapefruit is my favorite. It's zero calories, no artificial sweeteners and sodium free. I'm HOOKED!

I have a very sensitive stomach. I have to be careful what I eat and when my diet gets out of whack I pay the price for it. Instead of drinking Sprite and chucking 200 calories out the window, I can drink this and still get the carbonation I crave.

I hope you all had a great weekend! I need to fill you in on some of my recent purchases. Like $3 eye shadow at Sephora and two new Bar III dresses that I'm obsessed with!

Colors of the Rainbow Tag

The lovely Jess at Just What Jess Is Up To tagged me in her Colors of the Rainbow post. It's a few days late but I'm finally getting around to mine. I struggled for a little bit because most of my favorite products are white or black. I didn't realize this until I started looking at my favorite things! Maybe I should do a new fav products post soon so you can see them!

Basically, I will tell you my favorite product based on the color of the rainbow. Plus, we added pink and a multi-color option. Let's dive in...

RED: L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara. This a great mascara if you are going to event that will make you cry. I wore it for my sister's wedding and there was absolutely no running or horrible raccoon eyes. Amazing product!

ORANGE: I know this isn't a beauty product but it's helping me feel better about myself. I recently started using the Lose It! app and I feel like it has changed my life in the three weeks that I have been using it. It's similar to My Fitness Pal but it allows you to select how much weight you would like to lose that week and it adjusts the Net number of calories you should consume that day. I have lost a couple of pounds already. I'm incredibly aware of the number of calories in mini york peppermint patty after doing this! The food catalog is not as large as My Fitness Pal so I find myself sometimes searching foods in My Fitness Pal and adding them to Lose It. It's $0.99 but definitely worth it if you are looking to lose a few pounds.

YELLOW: Carmex lip balm is my go to. I use it year round. I put it on every night before bed and every morning. I have little tubes of this everywhere. On my night stand, in every hand bag I own, in my desk drawer, in my car, you name it...it's there!

GREEN: Dove Go Fresh Body Wash in Cool Moisture with cucumber and green tea. I love nearly every scent in this line but the green one is definitely one of my favorites!

BLUE: I use this Biore Astringent twice a day. After washing my face with my Clarisonic Mia, I use this to make sure I have removed all of the residue from my face wash. The price is great and my face feels super clean afterwards. Love!

INDIGO: This product is my god send. It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product makes my hair so manageable. I use this every time I wash my hair. It detangles all of my curls. Miracle product is an accurate description!

VIOLET: Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies is a great mascara! It is so similar to Benefit's They're Real. Not kidding. I get almost the exact same result for over half the price!

I cheated. I couldn't decide on one Pink product....so you get 3.

PINK: Beauty Blender. If you aren't using this sponge, then you need to head to your nearest Sephora or get on Amazon ASAP. My skin looks flawless when I apply my foundation with this great little tool.

PINK: Nars Roman Holiday is my new favorite lipstick. The application and texture of this lipstick is fantastic. Plus, they have every color under the sun so you will definitely be able to find something that works for you!

PINK: This Buxom Pink Lady lip gloss looks amazing over my Nars lipstick but it also looks great alone. The Big and Healthy lip glosses also plump your lips. Again, they have a variety of colors and I recommend testing all of them. Some of them look intimidating but the color is actually incredibly beautiful.

MULTI: My Naked 2 palette. I love this little guy. But, I also love all Urban Decay eye shadow. If you haven't tried any of them, you MUST check them out the next time you are in the market for eye shadow. I love the texture and consistency. They apply and blend beautifully. It's all I use these days!

Alright Ladies, there you have it. My favorite products based on the color of the rainbow! I hope you all enjoyed a long weekend. After four days off this is going to be a rough week!
