I plan to have it on Saturday afternoon with some sort of nacho or equally as messy and calorie filled snack in my hand. While I yell obnoxiously at the tv with my dad. This is what we do. I don't think I should watch sporting events in public. I think I embarrass my family and friends.
If you've never seen The Shoe, then you should. Whether you're a Buckeye fan or not. It's a beautiful sight! The first time I saw Script Ohio in person, it gave me goosebumps. It's AMAZING to see how perfect they are. I took my dad to his first game a few years ago. It's crazy to think that he had never been to a game because he is a die hard fan. He had opportunities but just never made it happen. I loved watching his face when the band came out in their perfect lines. It just so happened they were honoring some previous championship teams and the 1968 team was there. Archie Griffin was right in front of us. It was a great experience! I'll leave you with these:
As you can see, my first game was watched from very far away from the field. Ren and I had a blast though. This was the same week that Michigan got beat by Appalachian State. They weren't showing us the score of the game so no one knew what was going on. We finally heard late in the game that U of M was down so you saw everyone pull out their phones so they could get updates!
It was Alumni Day so this was the half time show of Script Ohio with the Alumni Band.
My next game, the seats were much better. Dad was a happy man! But, I have to say the Script Ohio view is better from the nose bleeds!
We were right beside the players entrance.
There he is...the 2 time Heisman winner, Archie Griffin (in the argyle).
Ren and I sweating but loving every minute of it!!
Are you as excited about football season as I am?? I'll also be attending high school games the rest of the season. Jenn's husband coaches QB's so we go and show our support every Friday Night! Thank god for her being a teacher and getting me in free to all of the games!
Happy Friday Dolls! Enjoy the long weekend! I hope you all have some fun and get a little time to relax!
