Friday Favorites

It's time for my Friday Favorites!

I've had this product for weeks but just keep forgetting to add it to my Friday Favorites! I'm obsessed! I used to use a white eye shadow in the corners of my eyes but I felt that it was a bit harsh at times. The pink tint of the Benefit Eye Bright pencil is much more natural. Just a side note, I actually bought this one on ebay. Yesterday, I found Benefit Erase Paste (you can read more about that here) on ebay for $10. Yes, you heard me right $10!!!!!! So, I bought the 2 that were available. Benefit is one of my favorite brands so I thought I would just stock up!

My current nail colors. Dear Diary has been my go to nail color lately. I love my Miss Bossy Pants on my toes.

Next up, my AE Boyfit Crop Jeans. I absolutely love these jeans. They are so comfy! I bought them last year and I'm happy to say they are back this year as well. I weighed a little bit more when I purchased them so they are a little bit big. But, they are just too comfy not to wear. So, I belt them and go on my way.

I loved them so much that I went back and bought the distressed ones as well. I plan to wear them a lot in the upcoming weeks. The weather has been perfect for them lately. As you can see below, I wore them to our family gathering last weekend. When you are running around with four 2 year olds and one 4 year old, you need to be comfortable!

Crazy Weather

I'm pretty sure I saw the makings of a tornado yesterday. It was terrifying. My commute to work was less than enjoyable. This cloud was BLACK, it came to a point and there was movement happening. It wasn't funneling. So, I guess it wasn't an actual tornado...yet. But, it had the potential to be. All of a sudden it would start raining for only about 30 seconds but it was Hard and the drops were BIG. Then, it would stop but a gust of wind would nearly blow my car off of the road. I nearly peed my pants. I just wanted to get away from it. By the time, I hit the next town (which was only a few miles) the sun was shining. That is not normal! I was thankful when I got to work and my co-worker saw the same cloud. I'm not crazy. It was scary and she thought it was a tornado too. I was prepared to pull over and get in a ditch...NOT KIDDING!

But, in all seriousness, I'm thankful that it wasn't a "real" tornado. I was watching the Today Show this morning and there was footage of Alabama. That is heartbreaking. There is so much damage and so many died as a result of the storm. A girl I went to college with lives in Alabama, they are ok. But, it's predicted they will be without power for a while. According to Al Roker, this storm is worse than the one that hit Xenia in 1970 which as of yesterday was the worst tornado to hit the U.S. My heart goes out to all of those that were effected by this storm in the South. I know it's moving on to the East Coast today so be safe everyone!

Have a happy Thursday and keep an eye out for these crazy storms!

P.S. Tomorrow at this time Kate Middleton will be Princess Catherine!!

How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother is one of the best shows on television. If you disagree...I just don't think we can be friends anymore. :) I have the first 5 seasons on DVD. If it is on tv, I'm usually watching it. I've been known to watch it during my lunch break at work. HIMYM (I use the acronym because I feel like we've been in a relationship long enough to do that!) just makes me smile. If you've never watched it, PLEASE find the episode titled Swarley. It is Season Two episode 7. Barney gets the name Swarley written on his coffee cup and the name sticks. Hilarious! There is of course more to it but I don't want to give it all away!

I didn't watch the show right away but after the second season I started getting them on Netflix and instantly became hooked. My dad even watches it now. The dynamic of their group is awesome and they have been renewed for 2 more seasons. (YAY!!) I want a Ted Mosby and Barney Stinson in my life! The weather is rainy and gloomy here in Ohio...if you're experiencing the same, go out and get a season or two of HIMYM, curl up with a blanket and some snacks then get ready to laugh!

Royal Wedding

The wedding of the century is a few days away. How many of you are going to be watching?!?! I most definitely will be, however we have decided that 4 am pre-wedding coverage is a little early for our liking. We have opted for the DVR. If I'm taking a vacation day for this I certainly do not want to be up at 4 am. We're going to start our viewing party around 9:30 or 10 which is much more my style. There will be mimosas and lots of Oohs and Ahhs.

We have been counting down the days since the proposal. I even watched Charles and Di's wedding on TLC on Sunday night. Her gown in all of its glory...how FABULOUS! The question everyone is dying to get the answer to...Who designed Kate's dress? I CANNOT wait to finally have the answer. I know she will look gorgeous.

If you're having a viewing party, what are you planning to do? I don't know what our menu will consist of but I'm sure it will be something delicious!

A little background info. Two of my cousins on my mom's side of the family have twin girls. That's right 4 girls. They are two months apart. It's CRAZY. My cousin Brad has the younger set (Lilly and Makayla). He is in the Navy and lives in Washington state. We haven't seen his family in a year and a half. He is currently home for about 3 weeks so we saw them for the first time yesterday. My cousin Drew has the older set of girls (Reagan and Tristan) they have an older brother Tyson. He goes by Ty which is what we call my brother as well because his name is Tyler. Are you keeping up? I know it's a lot of info! The girls were all reunited and it went well. Prepare yourselves for photo overload. But, I need you to see the first photo session after Brad's girls were born and then there are pics from yesterday as well. Enjoy!

The first meeting...

Lilly, Reagan, Makayla and Tristan (notice the dress up - it was the first thing they did!)

Tristan and Lilly look like they are gossiping in the corner. How adorable is this?

Ty and Ty or for those that don't know which is which...Tyson and Tyler.

How awesome is this pic of Brother and the girls?

Ok...I told you it was a lot of pictures but how cute are the girls? They all got along so well. It was awesome. Sister is coming home this weekend so we're having another family gathering. I can't wait! By the way, before the older girls were born I was not aware that twins ran in my family. Then, came set #2. To say I'm terrified to have children is an understatement. Everyone that has children on my mom's side of the family has twins. The odds are terrifying!

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Friday Favorites

It's Friday (FINALLY)!! So, here are some of my favorite things from this week.

These are the new shoes I bought while in Tennessee. They are oh so comfy and I'm in love with them. I think I might need to order them in black. I found them at Shoe Carnival. My sister's friend is an assistant manager and she let us use her Friends and Family Discount. Thanks Lanette!!

I have a huge problem with my eye shadow not lasting all day. It's always in the crease of my eye by the end of the day. So gross. I hate it. I have oily skin so I blame that. I have tried many many products to correct this. So far, Benefit's Stay Don't Stray is the only thing that works! It's not perfect but I don't expect it to be. However, it is a vast improvement. I have a feeling my love for this product will only grow! If any of you have an eyeshadow primer you like, please please please share! I've been using the Mary Kay Signature Eye Primer for weeks and it isn't doing the trick. GRRR!

I had to add my KitchenAid Mixer to this week's list. There is NO WAY I could bake the cookies that I love without it. It makes my life so much easier! We have this gray one. I desperately want to install a shelf in one of our cabinets that holds this. I have seen it on HGTV.  Here is a link to what I'm talking about. That's easier than trying to describe it! I just don't know if we can afford to eliminate an entire cabinet for this. But, I would LOVE it. Do any of you have one of these shelves? If so, is it worth it??

I hope everyone has a fab weekend! I have a birthday party to attend on Saturday and I'm so excited about it!

I think it's time to show off my baking skills. I LOVE to bake cookies. I just haven't done it since I started this blog. I'm hosting our quarterly coordinator's meeting tomorrow so I figured I would bake a little something for the ladies! I have 2 different kinds of sugar cookies that I like to bake. I love to do the cut outs and royal icing because I think it's fun to decorate them. I didn't really have time for all of that so I went with the Lofthouse Cookies instead.

The coloring is pretty bad on these. They are actually a lavendar color. But, this is just an iPhone picture in poor lighting so it will have to do. This dough has to sit overnight. When I have to make these during the week it's a 3 step process. I make the dough then let it refrigerate. The next day I bake them. The third day I ice them. It's a process but it makes my life a little easier.

These are my pride and joy! This was my FIRST attempt at sugar cookies and royal icing from scratch. My Santa's are my favorite. Their mouths are made of a single red sprinkle. I later made Reindeer and Gingerbread men. I used a recipe from Bake at 350 for the sugar cookie. My royal icing came from Cupcakes and Cashmere. I recommend using the squeeze bottles as opposed to piping bags. I feel like I have more control that way.

As you know, the bestie is in Poland. It wouldn't have been a proper going away party without Polish flag sugar cookies. They were a hit and I'm glad I could contribute to the party in my own little way.

I'm off the wagon...

As you all know, I had strep throat then I got bronchitis. I'm STILL coughing. It's miserable. So, that whole couch to 5k thing...yeah, it's not happening. I have very minimal lung capacity so the thought of running makes me want to cry. Which means I'm off the wagon. Hopefully, I will be able to start it up again soon.

Remember that 17 day diet? I'm off that wagon too. (I feel like such a quitter now that I see it in black and white.) Well, I got sick doing the diet. My stomach was ANGRY. I think it might have been all of the green tea I was drinking. Or it could have been all of the fruit, etc. Who knows. But, then I went to Tennessee and I was forced to eat McDonald's on the way there. (I was in fact forced because there was NOTHING else around and my dad doesn't make stops so if I wanted to eat that was my only choice.) This was a horrible choice and I will probably never eat it again. I also had IHOP, I had the simple and fit option which was quite good and on the healthier side of things. Here's the kicker though...I had an extremely fattening and carb filled dinner at Olive Garden and Coldstone later that night. So, the diet is totally out the window. But, that All The Lovin' Without the Oven ice cream was totally worth it.

Monday starts a new week. I plan to adapt the 17 day diet a bit because it was working and my energy level was GREAT. Plus, in the 5 days I did it...I lost 4 pounds. Hell. Yes. In a nutshell, I'm a quitter. I need you to keep me accountable when I start this again. But, for now I'll be eating the 2 Russell Stover Marshmallow Eggs that one of our volunteers just sat on my desk.

Happy Wednesday!

Sometimes it helps to just write things down.

Do you ever feel like your week is so crazy that you don't know when you'll have time to eat? That's the kind of week I'm having. I had to reheat my coffee TWICE yesterday and still didn't finish it. I was eating a yogurt for an hour and a half. I'm not even kidding. I'm surprised I remembered to go to the bathroom. I didn't eat lunch until 2. It's insane! It was crazy anyway then we found out that our business manager resigned and Friday was her last day. So, basically everyone is trying to figure out what needs to get done. We've all come together to help resolve the situation but it's just one more thing to distract me.

This banquet is killing me. I just want things done. I could be finished if other people weren't dragging their feet. I'm crossing things off my list every day! All I want is a guest list and who is speaking when so I can get the program submitted but once again people aren't as concerned as I am. IT'S OFFICIALLY 2 WEEKS AWAY. Let's get this done people!!

Today is written exam day. Which basically means I get to sit in the classroom reading a book while the students watch a video and then write for 90 minutes. Typically, I don't mind this day because I get to read a good book and I get paid for it. Today is different. Today I could be doing important things. Friday is NBME day. It's pretty much the same thing. But, I go to campus and sit in a computer lab. They take an individual exam for 2 1/2 hours. Then, we have a lunch break and they take the exam again in 2 teams. It's a VERY LONG day. But, again...I get paid to read a book. However, I have this huge banquet hanging over my head.

In a nutshell...I'm stressed. I'm trying to keep myself calm. There is really only so much one person can do in this kind of situation. So, I keep telling myself to breathe. It's going to work itself out. Everyone keeps telling me I'm doing such a great job. Yeah, but what if the food is wrong? What if we don't have certificates and pins for the students, what if the programs don't get finished in time and what if our speakers don't show up? These are things I'm thinking about. Because who will hold the blame if any of those things happen...THAT WOULD BE ME! Ahh!!

The only good thing...my boss is on vacation. Which means no new projects will pop up this week. I can focus on just the one major thing. I have a coordinators meeting on Thursday which pretty much takes up my entire day. Thankfully, I got all of my stuff prepared weeks ago so I don't have that to worry about. See I can find the bright side!

Sorry to complain but as the title says...sometimes it helps to write things down. I hope your week is not as hectic!!

We've returned from Tennesse. It was a great trip but it was too short and required a lot of driving! Here are some pics to sum it up.

Mr. Brown looking as handsome as ever.

We of course did not get along the majority of the trip but you can't help but love him.

Sister and her fellow Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) intern Lanette at the Rivers and Spires festival in Clarksville. It was cold and windy, not an ideal day. They made the most of it by getting their picture taken with all of the mascots. Meet the Screamin' Eagle.

I don't know what these are the mascots for but the peanut was pretty cute.

This one is my favorite!

All of the mascots waiting for the mascot race.

We were just a few blocks from Austin Peay so we drove around campus when we needed to warm up after sitting outside for an hour or so.

It was nice to spend some time with my sister and I liked seeing the town that she now calls home. There is actually a lot to do which surprised me. Hopefully, we'll get to visit Nashville during our next visit. We didn't get to go on base so we'll leave that for the text trip as well. I also bought a great new pair of shoes. I'll post a pic later this week.

Happy Monday Ladies! I hope you all had a great weekend. It's going to be a hectic week so I'm hoping it goes quickly!!

Friday Favorites

Ok...I'm planning a banquet for work. They usually do it in November and decided last week to move it up. And by up I mean May 3rd. That's right folks I have 1 month to plan something I've never done before. My co-worker had to talk me off of a cliff on Wednesday around 4:00 when I felt like everything was crumbling around me. I didn't feel like I was getting my questions properly answered from ANYONE. So I met with the girls on campus yesterday and I'm feeling better about things. I'm still stressed out but at least I know the students have their invitations. This is where my Friday Favorites come into play.

My fun colored sharpies. Because I'm OCD/Type A. I make lists...LOTS of them. They might be color coded. There might be folders as well. I have probably single handedly killed a tree this week with all of the emails/documents I'm printing.

My Lilly Pulitzer planner. I'm trying not to clutter it with too many work things. Because, I of course have a separate planner for work. My work lists are longer which requires bigger boxes. But, this keeps me sane. If I think of something while at home I have place to write it down.

This has nothing to do with the other two. But, it really is my miracle product. We've discussed my big hair. I use this every time I wash my hair. Which isn't every day...a) that's a lot of work and straightening b) I can go at least 2 days without my hair even appearing dirty. I'm blessed I guess. Back to It's a 10, it does 10 different things (hence the name) and I find my hair much more manageable now that I use it. It also doesn't get dry in the winter anymore. Thank you It's a 10...You Are Fabulous!!!

Have a great weekend Ladies! I'm hoping for a great weekend in TN!

The parents and are going to visit Sister and her "child" LeRoy this weekend!!

I'm so excited to finally see her house. I know she is getting bored being there alone. I guess you can only talk to your dog so much before you need some human interaction. This is probably why we talked on the phone for over 2 hours on Saturday night. My mom and I were hoping to leave work around noon but I have to give my students evaluations at 2:00 on Friday. Totally putting a damper on our plans. Looks like we won't get there until Friday night but at least we'll have all day Saturday to hang out.

I'm hoping LeRoy Brown will be on his best behavior. We have a love/hate relationship. He's hyper...boarderline INSANE. So, we don't get along at times. But, he is pretty handsome!

I got a letter in the mail that a part for my car had been recalled. Last week I needed an oil change so I asked my dealership to check to see if the part needed to be replaced...it did. But, they had to order it. Typically, I just borrow my grandparent's spare car when I'm getting an oil change, etc. Well, I didn't want to ask for their car again so I told the dealership I would need one of their loaner cars. (Side Note: I'm 4'11" so I can't just drive any car. I bought my Vibe because of the lovely level dash board and the fact that I can see perfectly without the help of a pillow or the awesome phone book my best friend bought me when I turned 16.)

I got to the dealership last night after work and the man that sold me my car took me around back to the loaner. It's a Pontiac Sunfire. Which is fine...until I got inside. The seat does NOT lift up (big problem). So, I'm attempting to maneuver the seat and thinking, how am I supposed to drive this all the way to work tomorrow?? Also, it smells like someone smoked a cigar in there which resulted in me sneezing the entire drive home.

So, this morning I had to find a proper sized pillow to sit on. Lovely. I can get past the fact that it doesn't have power locks/windows, no remote lock or that you have to turn the radio off when you get out because it doesn't turn off with the car. But, the inability to see and having more blind spots than you could ever imagine is difficult. Thankfully, I get my car back tonight.

Until someone is as short as me, they cannot truly understand how horrible this is. I had the most miserable commute today. Lesson learned, from now on I will just borrow my grandparent's car. This is absurd!

17 Day Diet

I'm aware that I don't need a "diet". When my friend Jenn and I are discussing the low cal options at a restaurant or looking up fat content on our phones while we wait, we're aware that people want to slap us. Or when we are complaining about our jeans being a little snug. But, I have my reasons for going on this diet.

In the fall I got incredibly sick. I wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy. For two straight months I was nauseated every hour of every day. I had severe abdominal cramps. It was horrible. In the end, I lost 10 pounds and looked totally emaciated. My skin tone was gray, my hair was dry and my face was a broken out disaster! I won't even get into all of the tests I had done to me. Let's just say...they aren't fun and I hope I don't have to do them again for a VERY long time. My internal med doctor (the man that called me a spit fire - that's a story for another day) put me on a strict diet. Lean meats, no fat, nothing processed, no red sauce (this was a biggie...eating pizza made me want to die.) Turns out I had polyps in my stomach (which were removed) if the problem continues or flares up again, they will take out my gallbladder. Personally, I would like to keep my organs...THANKS!

I'm feeling fine. I was on a medication they give to people with ulcers. I had to take it before every meal and at bedtime. The pill itself is disgusting. It starts to disintegrate almost immediately. Not to mention, it's huge! So, getting those guys down was a task in itself. I learned that I couldn't take it with water because it tasted horrible. I would try but I would gag every time. I started testing my limits and eating things without the pills. It's the only way I would know if I was feeling better. I didn't want to take a pill four times a day forever. So, I haven't been taking them for a while and I feel great. The problem is my diet has turned to crap! I'm eating anything and everything and I have a fear that the problem will come back.

So, this brings me back to the 17 day diet. I'm using it to get my body back on track. In the book, it discusses that the things he recommends help with digestion, etc. This is what I need people! Anything, that will keep me from surgery or pills everyday. I'm on day 2. So far so good. I don't have the book with me. So, I'll have to post again with the details of the diet. Every cycle is 17 days...who can't do something for 17 days? If you hit your goal weight you can skip to the final cycle. I only want to lose a few pounds so I have a feeling that's where I'll be going next. I'm not trying to look sickly...been there, done that! I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes.

Towards the end of the stomach issues, I went to Homecoming at OU. I had been on my pills for a few weeks and my doctor told me to go and eat what I wanted to see how it made me feel. What better place to do that than in Athens?

This is me, carrying around a HUGE bottle of pills. I managed to have a great time and had very little pain. When people tried to get me to do shots. I would say...no really, I can't. If they insisted, I pulled this guy out and then they would back off! Color had come back to my face at this point because I was no longer living on Gatorade, Sprite, toast, crackers and the occasional grilled cheese.

Things in my bedroom that make me happy

I was cleaning my room this weekend. It was well over due. Since I have been sick the past two weeks my room was SEVERELY neglected. While I was cleaning, I was thinking about the things in my bedroom that make me smile.

This mirror was my great grandma's. I'm sure it's not really worth anything. It's totally falling apart too and definitely needs a little TLC. But, I love it.

My grandma has the orginal of this picture in her house. I told her that we would all be fighting over it someday so she made me a copy of it. I had her make one for my cousin too and I gave it to her for Christmas a few years ago. My Great Grandma and Grandma are in the back. The front row is me, my mom, Tarin and my Aunt Patsy. Notice my Dotty Dog shirt. I LOVED the Get Along Gang.

I got this bowl in Mexico a couple of years ago. I love all of the bright colors. I keep my running watch, earrings, bobby pins, etc in it.

This is an ashtray that I stole got in Madrid when I was in High School. It's from our hotel and I keep random things it. But, it reminds me of being 16 and in Europe with my friends. Such a great experience and I'm so grateful that my parents let me spend 10 fabulous days in Paris and Madrid.

Friday Favorites

This week has been hectic and seemed exceptionally long due to the fact that I haven't worked a 40 hour work week in 2 weeks. I can blame strep and bronchitis for that one. But, a lot has happened too so I'm looking forward to relaxing a little bit over the weekend. It's going to be warm...weatherman is predicting 80 on Sunday!! OMG...couldn't be happier! So, I have a plan to clean my car. The poor thing needs it; she's had a rough Winter. Here are some of my favorite things from this week.

Too Faced - Primed and Poreless. The best primer I have found. I need to thank Pink Lou Lou for this one. You were so right...It.Is.FAB! Has anyone used the Bronzing Primer? I've considered trying it.

My teasing brush (I have the pink one of course). Now that we have corrected the atrocious mess that was happening on the back of my head, I can do it properly. I have a short angled bob and the back is choppy layers. So, this guy is my best friend when I want to make it messy and have some extra volume. My hair is big by nature. It's curly and occasionally frizzy. So I NEED products and tools. Do you remember the Infusium 23 commercials? The girl with the crazy out of control hair? Yeah...that's me when I don't use product. I could scare small children. Thankfully, I've learned how to control it and might I add THANK GOD FOR A FLAT IRON. It changed my life! I rocked a ponytail a lot growing up because I just didn't know how to handle the hair situation.

Mr. Sunshine has finally returned to gray and gloomy Ohio. I've been rocking my aviators the past few days. It puts a huge smile on my face!

**One more thing that made my week so much better is Facebook Chat. What would I do without it?? It allows me to talk to my best all the way in Poland. It doesn't compare to face to face or even the phone but I know her well enough to sense her sarcasm! Ren, I know you're busy but you'll read this eventually. Things aren't ideal and it isn't going exactly how you planned. But, I know you'll make the best of it. Have fun traveling this weekend. I can't wait to hear your stories. Enjoy your Easter candy and Girl Scout Cookies. I miss my partner in crime...we'll make up for lost time when you return! Love you!

Alright Ladies, have a fabulous weekend and enjoy the sunshine!

Jodi Picoult

Writing about Something Borrowed earlier this week inspired me to do a post about one of my favorite authors, Jodi Picoult. I love her books. I had the pleasure of seeing her speak. She had just released Handle with Care. Her book Nineteen Minutes was Dayton's Big Read a couple of years ago so she came to Dayton to do a book signing and read a portion of Handle with Care. I loved hearing her discuss how much time and research she puts into each book. I thought I would highlight some of my favorites for you.

This is by far my favorite, it's about a school shooting. I had never read her books prior to reading this one. She had me hooked immediately. She tends to grab your attention right away. Her books also have twists and turns that surprise me. Which I LOVE! I started reading this book on my flight home from Vegas. I'm a crier. (Seriously...I cry at tv commercials so it doesn't take much) But, I had no idea that I would be crying on the plane and praying that no one noticed. Thankfully, it wasn't a full flight! I just have to say, well done Jodi! You made me an instant fan with this one!

My next book was The Pact. I think I read the entire thing in three days. That tends to happen with her books. The topic can be somewhat heavy but you can't put it down.

Vanishing Acts was another solid read!

Plain Truth has a Lifetime Movie based on it. Mariska Hargitay stars in it.

Maybe some of you have seen the movie My Sister's Keeper based on this book. It stars Cameron Diaz, Alec Baldwin and Abigail Breslin. If you didn't read the book before seeing the movie then you need to. The book is SO MUCH better. Read It!

I have stacks of her books sitting at home. I did read Handle With Care. That was a lot to handle so I took a little break and I think I'm ready for more. Sitting in my bookcase I have Perfect Match, The Tenth Circle, Mercy and Salem Falls. I have read Change of Heart also. There is a Grey's Anatomy episode with a VERY similar plot...I wonder where Shonda Rhimes got her inspiration?!?!

Here is a link to her website. I hope you all check out her books...if you haven't already!

P.S. I would like to let all of you know that Nik safely made it to Kuwait yesterday. My sister has talked to him and he is doing ok. He was going to his base yesterday morning. At least we can say the Army wasn't at fault for Monday's delay, we can blame Mother Nature for that one! I'm just glad that he made it safely, now we just need this deployment to fly by so he can come home!

Destination Wedding...YES PLEASE!

My cousin Jess is getting married next February in Key West. That's right folks...a DESTINATION WEDDING. Our entire family is thrilled. We're thrilled for the happy couple but we are also thrilled that they decided to celebrate their new life together on the beach! My fam loves any reason to celebrate. There is ALWAYS wine, liquor and beer present at all family gatherings. Yeah...basically any form of booze. I should stress the fact that we are not alcoholics! ;) But, we love a good cocktail. So, this wedding will allow us to sit by the ocean with a fruity drink in hand and that is basically all I need for a good vaca! Plus...the reception is on a BOAT! Jess and I are both taking off work on the 29th...getting inspiration from the Royal Wedding, of course. I'm sure we'll pull out her inspiration boards and look through her wedding stuff as well but we just won't make any big decisions after a couple of glasses of wine!

Jess is 2 years younger than me, so we have lots of memories together...

This is by far one of my favorite pics from my childhood. Jess and I with our Uncle Daren.

Halloween '09 Gaga and a Girl Scout

We wear Ugly Christmas sweaters. It's Awesome.

This has NOTHING to do with Jess. But, my sister looks all kinds of fabulous in it! HA! Oh and Sarah is completely embarassed to be standing next to her.

*There will be more pics to come...we were forced to wear fancy dresses on EVERY special occasion. So, there are some real gems out there. I just need to find / scan them!
